🎃 Florida’s Deaf Halloween Bash 2025 — FAQ

✨ What is this event?

Florida’s Deaf Halloween Bash is a one-of-a-kind, all day Halloween experience created by and for the Deaf community and it’s the biggest Deaf Halloween event in Florida! It’s split into two main parts: SPOOKY DAY MARKET & AFTERPARTY (18+ ONLY)

📍 Where is it happening?

2634 Emerson Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712
Free street parking is available. Venue is fully decorated with immersive Halloween themes and an epic portal lighting experience.

Is this event free or ticketed?

Day Market (12–5 PM): Free for everyone, all ages welcome.
Afterparty (7 PM–2 AM): 18+ only. Ticket required.m$20 Early Bird / $30 at the Door!

Will there be food and drinks?

YES! Both the Day Market and Afterparty will have food and drinks available to buy.

🎭 Are costumes required?

YES. Costumes are mandatory for the afterparty.
No costume = no entry. Get creative and spooky.

🧛 Who can attend?

  • Day Market: All ages welcome, Deaf and hearing allies encouraged.

  • Afterparty: Must be 18+ to enter. IDs will be checked.

✈️ I’m coming from out of state - can I still attend?

YES! Out-of-state Deaf community members and allies are 100% welcome at Florida’s Deaf Halloween Bash. We’re building something big and inclusive and you’re invited!

There are many hotels and Airbnb options nearby in St. Petersburg and Tampa.
We recommend booking early - this area is popular in October.

We’ll also be posting a hotel list and travel tips soon on our website!

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Both! Florida’s Deaf Halloween Bash will have indoor AND outdoor spaces for both the Day Market and Afterparty. There will be haunted decorations, immersive lighting, and music in both areas.

Refund policy?

  • Tickets are non-refundable.

  • If the event is canceled due to emergency, weather, or venue issue, you’ll be notified and refunded in full.

  • If you can’t attend, you’re welcome to gift or transfer your ticket to someone else.

♿ Accessibility

  • The venue is wheelchair accessible.

  • The event will be 100% sign language-centered (Deaf performers, signing staff, visual schedules).

 I want to be a vendor! How?

Vendor booths are $125 flat and open during the free day market (12–5 PM).

Your booth is not reserved until payment is made.

What kind of vendors are accepted?

We welcome:

  • Deaf-Owned Businesses

  • Tarot Readers, or any spiritual services!

  • Spooky, glam, or Halloween-themed shops

  • Food, drink, and snack vendors

  • Artists, crafters, and small brands

  • Allies welcome with Deaf-friendly vibes

How do vendors pay?

After completing the vendor form, you’ll be redirected to payment link.
⚠️ No payment = No confirmed spot.

📷 Will photos or videos be taken?

Yes! We’ll have a haunted photo booth and content creators capturing the event (ASL-friendly, of course). By attending, you agree to potentially appear in photo/video content used for future promotion.

Safety & Rules

  • 18+ enforced for the afterparty

  • No outside alcohol or drugs

  • All bags subject to check at the door

  • Security will be present for safety

  • Respect the Deaf space and community - any disrespectful behavior will result in removal
