I didn’t write this book because life was easy. I wrote it because it was hard. Because silence, shame, and survival tried to bury me. And for too long, I carried stories inside that I thought no one would understand.
This book is my way of saying: you’re not alone. It’s for the people who’ve been through trauma, who know grief too well, who’ve fought to be seen and heard. It’s for the Deaf community, for survivors, for anyone who ever felt like their voice didn’t matter.
I wrote it to turn pain into power, to show that healing is messy but possible, and that even in the darkest chapters, there’s still light waiting at the end of the page.
Most of all, I wrote it because I believe our stories aren’t meant to stay hidden... they’re meant to be shared, so others can find strength in them too.
